National Association of Women Business Owners

The National Association of Women Business Owners, Columbus, Ohio Chapter, is a Central Ohio organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all industries. Membership is open to sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners with 5% ownership in their company. Active members who live in a chapter area automatically join both chapter and national organization of NAWBO.

Lewis Center/Polaris Rotary

The Lewis Center/Polaris Rotary serves Lewis Center, Ohio, Orange Township and the Polaris Commerce Center. The Lewis Center/Polaris Rotary Club meets for breakfast almost every Friday at 7:45am in the Ohio Building of Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center to exchange ideas and plan future service projects.

Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce

Since March 7, 1907, the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce has served the needs of the business community in Delaware County. Today, with more than 400 members, the Chamber brings a business perspective to initiatives throughout Delaware County. Check website for information to join and meeting times and locations.

Orange Township Economic Development Advisory Board

The Orange Township Economic Development Advisory Board (OTEDAB) was created for the purpose of focusing on two priorities: Branding and Promotion of Orange Township, and Business & Residential Outreach in Orange Township. The Board meets at the Township Hall every other month at at 7pm. Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Click below for meeting dates.

Polaris Area Kiwanis Club

The Polaris Area Kiwanis Club meets the 1st & 3rd Wednesday’s from 12-1pm at Taranto’s and is welcoming new members to join in networking, fellowship and service to the community. For more info please click below:

Gold Star Referral Clubs - Lewis Center Business

Gold Star Referral Clubs help business people and professionals grow their businesses without large advertising outlays. Local businesses can access a business growth system which delivers the power of word-of-mouth advertising to their bottom lines.The Lewis Center Business Gold Star Referral Club meets Thursdays at 11:45 am in the conference room of Cabela's - Polaris.

Ohio State Alumni Club of Delaware County - The Delaware County Alumni Club was established to promote the advance of the interests of The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc., establish closer fellowship among the alumni, friends, former and future students of The Ohio State University, support the student recruitment process, and provide scholarship opportunities to the students of Delaware County who attending The Ohio State University.  Anyone can join, and no affiliation to OSU is required.  LEARN MORE

MOMS Club of Lewis Center North

Our club is a fun place for MOMS to meet other MOMS, provide support, swap stories and tips and share in the joy of motherhood. Our club provides a variety of activities for at-home moms and their families located in Galena, Lewis Center and the area Northeast of Lewis Center. MOMS Club of Lewis Center South

We started the MOMS Club of Lewis Center/Westerville so stay at home moms could gather together for fun, kid friendly activities as well as have a monthly night out and become an active member. We also are a nice outlet to share in the joys and frustrations of motherhood! Check website for upcoming meeting's times and locations.

Olentangy Area Seniors

Meet the first Wednesday of each month at 11:45am at Orange Township Hall. Each meeting features a potluck or catered luncheon, a business meeting and entertainment. Blood pressure checks are available from 10-11:30am prior to meeting. More info, call 614-204-5289.

Caregiver Support Group

SourcePoint offers FREE caregiver support groups, held on the second Tuesday of each month. Two sessions are available: 9–10 a.m. or 6–7 p.m. Support groups are led by trained staff—come join us to share experiences, meet other caregivers, discover new resources, and to ask questions. Now available in 3 locations. 

NAMI Family Support Group

NAMI Family Support Groups are free, confidential and safe groups of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned group wisdom. Class meets the Third Tuesday of the month, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, at NAMI, 560 Sunbury Road, Delaware 43015 

Central Ohio Model Railroad Club

Started in 2002, COMRC is a multi-scale club, welcoming members from any model railroad interest area. From Z scale to G scale, and larger, members represent many scales, many modeling periods and many geographical interests. The COMRC showcases operating layouts in Z, N, HO scale, O gauge, and S gauge (American Flyer).

Delaware County Model Railroader Group

DCMRG club holds open houses every month at The Trailhouse at Big Walnut Community Trail. Visitors can watch the trains and learn about model railroading. Members meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays at 10:00 am and on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 6:00 pm, at the trailhouse (68 S. County Students Participated in Library Art Show in Conjunction with Delaware Arts Festival

 The Delaware County District Library (DCDL) and Delaware County school systems collaborated again this year for the annual student art showcase at the Delaware Main Library. The showcase was held in conjunction with the Delaware Arts Festival, which took place May 20 - 21, 2017. 

The DCDL staff awarded First Place and a cash prize to Autumn Barr from Olentangy High School for her self portrait. Gabbi Frabotta from Olentangy Liberty High School received Second Place and a cash prize for her painting. Third Place and a cash prize went to Olentangy Orange High School student Miranda Edgar for her octopus sculpture. 

The high school students’ work was also judged by a panel from the Delaware Arts Festival on Saturday, May 20.
