The National Association of Women Business Owners, Columbus, Ohio Chapter, is a Central Ohio organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all industries. Membership is open to sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners with 5% ownership in their company. Active members who live in a chapter area automatically join both chapter and national organization of NAWBO.
The Lewis Center/Polaris Rotary serves Lewis Center, Ohio, Orange Township and the Polaris Commerce Center. The Lewis Center/Polaris Rotary Club meets for breakfast almost every Friday at 7:45am in the Ohio Building of Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center to exchange ideas and plan future service projects.
Since March 7, 1907, the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce has served the needs of the business community in Delaware County. The Orange Township Economic Development Advisory Board (OTEDAB) was created for the purpose of focusing on two priorities: Branding and Promotion of Orange Township, and Business & Residential Outreach in Orange Township. DCDL AWARDS STAFF FAVORITES FOR STUDENT ART
County Students Participated in Library Art Show in Conjunction with Delaware Arts Festival
The Delaware County District Library (DCDL) and Delaware County school systems collaborated again this year for the annual student art showcase at the Delaware Main Library. The showcase was held in conjunction with the Delaware Arts Festival, which took place May 20 - 21, 2017.
The DCDL staff awarded First Place and a cash prize to Autumn Barr from Olentangy High School for her self portrait. Gabbi Frabotta from Olentangy Liberty High School received Second Place and a cash prize for her painting. Third Place and a cash prize went to Olentangy Orange High School student Miranda Edgar for her octopus sculpture.
The high school students’ work was also judged by a panel from the Delaware Arts Festival on Saturday, May 20.
