Letters To Santa Mailbox, Now through December 18, 2019, Orange Township Hall - Santa will be accepting letters from his believers, now throught Wed, Dec 18.  When making out letter, please be sure to legibly print your first and last name and mailing address.  LEARN MORE

Sounds of the Season, Saturday, December 14 (check times below), Polaris Fashion Place - Sounds of the Season is a program where local schools, organizations, dance groups and singers can spread holiday cheer for all to hear. Performances will take place every hour on the Lower Level by the Play Area on Saturday, December 14th from 10:30 AM - 7 PM. One Warm Coat 4 Mile & 2 Mile Run/Walk, Saturday, December 14, 9am - 11am, Mount Carmel Lewis Center - Join us on Saturday, December 14 for a 4 mile and 2 mile run/walk from Mount Carmel Lewis Center. We are changing things up for the event this year. The primary goal of the event is for the running and multi sport community of Central Ohio to give back and support others in need. The cost of the event is only $10-20 (depending on registration date) and helps to cover the cost of event labor, timing tags and bibs, traffic control and any event sundry needs. Long sleeve shirts will be an option to purchase. To keep cost down we are not going to provide medals or awards as the focus of this event is for our running and multi sport community to give back.  LEARN MORE


Christmas Bird Count, Saturday, December 14, 8am - 12pm, Highbanks Metro Park - Help us count birds in the park for the annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Afterward, warm up with hot chocolate in the nature center while we tally our results. Ages 10 and older. Meet at the nature center. No experience necessary.  LEARN MORE

Get Started with Drones in School, Monday, December 16, 9am - 3pm, Ready Made RC - Build and take home your very own Nano-sized First-Person-View (FPV) Racing Drone! Learn the basics for getting your team up and running for the 2018-19 Drones in School season and bring first-person view (FPV) drones to your school. Each ticket holder will get to build and fly their own racing drone during the workshop. At the end of the day, each registered attendee will get to take home nearly $300 in equipment to kickstart their Drones in School program or to begin their own exciting hobby of drone racing! Reserve your space DEC 18th , 2nd Annual Kids' Maker Market, Wednesday, December 18, 5pm - 9pm, gather - We have so much interest and so many awesome kiddos that want to participate, we are opening up additional spots and making this a 2 night event! Our 2nd annual Kids’ Maker Market will be held on December 18th + 19th 5-9pm. Entrepreneurial makers ages 5-18 are invited to bring their hand-crafted items to sell at this special Kids' Maker Market. We are also collecting children's artwork to be displayed during this event - check out our Doodle for Donations event on our Events Page. Whether your child is creating art, selling their craft OR BOTH, this is an opportunity for local kiddos to experience the creative process, bring their ideas to life and to exercise business skills... all while giving back during the holiday season.

For every child that submits artwork or reserves a spot at our Maker Market, we will donate a craft kit or coloring book with crayons to Nationwide Children's Hospital in their name.  LEARN MORE

C8 Corvette Reveal Tour, Friday, December 20, 11am - 7:30pm, Chesrown Chevrolet Buick GMC - Join us on December 20th, 2019 from 11 AM to 7:30 PM at Chesrown Chevrolet Buick GMC to come to see, touch and feel the BRAND NEW 2020 C8 Corvette in person! Run the Lights 2019 - Presented by Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians, Saturday, December 21, 5 AM – 7 AM, Alum Creek State Park / Butch Bando's Fantasy of Lights! - Run the Lights is limited to 500 total runners - 250 in 5AM and 250 in in 6AM race.  This is your unique opportunity to run the light show at the Butch Bando's Fantasy of Lights! This is our 2nd annual run and it's like no other run (or walk)! Get to see all the lights in this very special experience. This is the only public run through the light show - normally only cars are permitted through it. Register your family and friends quickly as this event will be sure to sell out quickly. The 1.5 mile runs are partial runs through the light show. The 3 mile run is a run throught the entire light show!  LEARN MORE


Berlin Baseball Winter Skills Camp, Thursday, December 26, 8am - 10am and 10am - 12pm,  and Friday, December 27, 8am - 10am and 10am - 12pm, Olentangy Berlin High School - BERLIN BASEBALL WINTER SKILLS CAMP.  GRADES K-8.  Grades 5-8 8:00-10:00; Grades K-4 10:00-12:00. OBHS Aux Gym.  CAMP OVERVIEW:  Hitting | Throwing | Infield | Outfield | Base Running.  Each participant will receive a Berlin Baseball T-Shirt.

Daddy-Daughter Dance, Saturday, January 11, 2020, 6pm - 8pm, Ohio Wesleyan University - The City of Delaware invites you to join us SATURDAY January 11, 6:00-8:00PM at the OWU Student Center! Recommended ages 4-17!  Please note that the Dance will be held on a Saturday with an earlier start time!  An Ice Cream Bar will be available at 6:00PM, followed by games and dancing. A professional digital photo is included in price. Formal dress is encouraged. Registration is going on now!  The event may sell out. Application Priority Deadline, Friday, January 17, 12am - 11:59pm, Delaware Area Career Center - The Application Priority Deadline for the 2020/2021 school year January 17, 2020. Any application received on or before this date will be given priority over those received later. We also look at grades, attendance, and three essay questions.  LEARN MORE


Zoo School Readiness Exam, Wednesday, January 29, 4pm - 6pm, Delaware Area Career Center - DACC will be hosting a readiness exam for all students applying to the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium School program for the 2020-2021 school year. Hike Ohio! - Novices of the outdoors - This group is for anyone who likes to hike and walk on nature trails, backpacking trails and just about anywhere in the great outdoors. All those who are dedicated to hiking excursions in Ohio, with a focus on leaving no trace of litter on our lands can join us! We will get together for evening hikes on metro parks trails, gather for day hikes in the Ohio State park and forest system and maybe even do overnight trips if anyone is interested. Lace up your hikers and hit the trail with us! And don't forget to check out the Polls section to vote on when/where to go on the next hike.
