The Fifth Annual “Miles for Smiles 5K Run/Walk,” presented by North Orange Family Dentistry, Saturday, July 28, 8am, North Orange Park in Lewis Center.  The proceeds from the race will benefit the Free to Smile Foundation. Free to Smile Foundation is dedicated to supporting and sustaining comprehensive, quality surgical and dental services to poor and underprivileged children and adolescents throughout the world. Triathlon for Hope (All Female), Saturday, August 18, 8am - 11am, Alum Creek State Park - This is the 7th annual all-female triathlon designed to raise awareness about early detection of breast cancer, research into eradicating the disease, recognizing the survivors and those living with breast cancer, and remembering those who have been lost to this terrible disease. The proceeds from the event are donated to local breast cancer organizations to fund breast cancer research and awareness activities. The past six years, the event has contributed several thousand dollars to local breast cancer charitable organizations through your participation in this triathlon.  LEARN MORE

Hike Ohio! - Novices of the outdoors - This group is for anyone who likes to hike and walk on nature trails, backpacking trails and just about anywhere in the great outdoors.
